Chrissy Teigen spoke about motherhood and her love for her baby Luna and husband John Legend to People in a recent video interview.
When asked what the biggest adjustment was at first to motherhood, she spoke about one frequent part of being a parent. “I think becoming numb to the sound of crying!” Chrissy said. At first she freaked out, but now she is very calm about it no matter where she is.
She spoke very fondly about her husband John Legend’s role as a father, saying he was already a very big help.
“John does so much, because actually he feels helpless in a lot of other ways obviously – he can’t nurse! He dances with her and he’s a good calming source.”
But when People asked her about John Legend’s bedtime lullabies, it was a different story altogether.
“I gotta say, some of them are pretty questionable! He doesn’t really know how to sing to babies…[The] bath time song wasn’t so good, I will say, last night. It was like, ‘You’re taking a bath time.’ Like, there was just no thought into it.”
Despite this (if not BECAUSE of this!), she makes him sound like the most adorable father!
