As Dior brand ambassador, Rihanna has teamed up with the brand to launch a new line of sci-fi inspired sunnies, called “Rihanna”, and they’re seriously cool. The new line will be available exclusively to Dior stores in June, and they will come in six different colours: silver, pink, blue, green, red and gold.
If you’re a big spender, you could be rocking these babies for $1,150 (AUD) each, with the gold-plated ones available for $2,600 (AUD) each.
Rihanna has been pretty excited about the sunnies, recently posting this on Instagram, captioned “When you reppin da PHUCK out yo own sh*t!!!”
She also posted this, captioned “mood”:
In a statement, Rihanna said that she was inspired by Star Trek for the sunglasses – and you can definitely see this in the design. “I’ve always been obsessed with his eyewear, and when I got to Dior and saw all the materials I could play with, it all just came together.”
