Bella Thorne thrust microblading into the spotlight late last year, when she Snapchatted her own procedure to her legions of fans. Oprah Winfrey is another microblading devotee, and we suspect the Kardashians have all gone under the blade as well.

Dunham saw “permanent make-up pioneer” Dominique Bossavy, who divides her time between her Beverly Hills base and Manhattan to tend to her A-list clientele.
In Australia, there are now countless salons offering the procedure, including Amy Jean Eye Couture, who operates in Sydney, Brisbane, Melbourne and the Gold Coast.
Do your research when choosing a salon and always ask to see before and after photos: you want the colour to suit your skin tone and the shape to suit your face, not a one-size-fits-all approach.
