Featuring the country’s most eminent designers alongside a new and exciting generation of design talent, the week will showcase the absolute creme de la creme of the Australian fashion industry.
Fortunately, the runway shows aren’t just for people in the fashion industry and the public have access to a select number of designer shows and programming as well.

How Do I Get To Afterpay Australian Fashion Week?
Depending on where you’re travelling from, you make your way to Carriageworks via public transport or a private car.
If you’re taking public transport, Carriageworks is a short walk from multiple train stations. This includes Redfern Station (eight minute walk), Macdonaldtown Station (ten minute walk) and Newtown Station (15 minute walk).
If you opt for the bus, the following bus routes stop a five minute walk away from the event: 422, 423, 426, 428, 370, 352.
Valet parking is also available for visitors, guests and staff for a flat rate of $44.00 (incl GST) for pre-booked (and pre-paid) per space per day or $55.00 pay-on-arrival (incl GST).
What Is Afterpay Australian Fashion Week’s Schedule?
Familiar names include ALÉMAIS, Aje, Anna Quan, BEC + BRIDGE, JOSLIN, Acler and St Agni, while new names of note include Wynn Hamlyn, Maggie Marilyn and Alix Higgins.
In addition, the schedule also showcases 11 First Nations fashion designers, who will feature in the David Jones Indigenous Fashion Projects Runway, IMG’s Next Gen, We Wear Australian X Afterpay closing night show and the Ngali runway show.

Can I Buy Food And Drinks At Afterpay Australian Fashion Week?
Yes, food and drinks are available at The Hub at Carriageworks. The Hub contains the Hendrick’s Gin Parlour, Glenfiddich Whisky Wanderer and Toby Estate’s Pop Up Cafe, and is open daily between 9am to 10pm.
